What is ViveSmart AI?

ViveSmart AI is ViveLead’s AI integration that links your CRM to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Perplexity. Instead of a separate AI chatbox inside the CRM, you talk to ViveLead from inside the AI tool your team already opens every day. It answers questions using your live data and takes actions like creating leads, so the AI works as a real assistant, not a search box.

It connects through a standard remote MCP server, so any AI client that supports custom MCP connectors can talk to your ViveLead CRM.

How do I connect ViveLead to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or Perplexity?

You add ViveLead as a custom MCP connector in your AI assistant using one URL, then authorise it with your ViveLead login. After that, your CRM is available inside the AI tool and you can ask it anything about your data. Setup takes a few minutes and ViveSmart AI is available on every paid plan.

ViveLead MCP server URL:

Add this URL as a custom or remote MCP connector, give it a name like “ViveLead,” and sign in with your ViveLead credentials when prompted. Gemini is not supported yet because it does not offer custom connectors.

Connect ViveLead to Claude

1. In Claude, open the left sidebar and select the Customize (suitcase) option.
2. Open the Connectors tab.
3. Click the plus button to add a connector, then choose Add custom connector.
4. Enter a Name (for example, ViveLead) and paste the Remote MCP URL: https://mcp.vivelead.com/mcp.
5. When the authentication tab opens, sign in with your ViveLead credentials and allow access.
6. Start a new chat and try: “List the tools from the ViveLead connector.” You will see all available tools.

Connect ViveLead to ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT, go to Settings and select Apps.
2. Under Advanced settings, click Create app.
3. Fill in the fields: Name (for example, ViveLead), a short Description, the Connection URL https://mcp.vivelead.com/mcp, and set Authentication to OAuth.
4. Check I understand and want to continue, then click Create.
5. Authorise with your ViveLead credentials when prompted.

Connect ViveLead to Grok

1. In Grok, hover over your profile (name and email) at the lower left and click it.
2. Select Connectors, then New connector, and choose Custom connector.
3. Enter a Name (for example, ViveLead) and the Server URL: https://mcp.vivelead.com/mcp.
4. Authorise with your ViveLead credentials when prompted.

Connect ViveLead to Perplexity

Perplexity follows the same flow as Claude: add a custom connector, name it ViveLead, paste the MCP URL https://mcp.vivelead.com/mcp, and authorise with your ViveLead credentials.

What can I ask my CRM?

You can ask anything you would normally dig through dashboards to find. The AI reads your live ViveLead data and answers in seconds.

The first set are read queries. The last two are write actions: ViveSmart AI creates and updates records in your CRM, not just reports on them.
