WhatsApp CRM Pricing 2026: What Wati, Respond.io and Kommo Cost Per User

Published USD prices for Wati, Respond.io, Kommo and ViveLead, read off each vendor's own pricing page in September 2026. Plus the seat bundles, minimum terms and contact metering that the plan card does not show.

The Short Answer

Four WhatsApp CRMs, their published prices in US dollars, read off each vendor’s own page on 24 September 2026.

ToolEntry tierSeats includedExtra seatMinimum term
ViveLead Professional$19 per user, billed yearly. $24 month to month1$19, or $24 monthlyNone
Kommo Base$25 per user1$256 months
Respond.io Starter$79 a month billed yearly. $99 month to month5$12None stated
Wati GrowthNot shown to us, see below3Not allowedNot stated

Two of these four do not sell one seat. That is the part worth reading past the headline.

Nobody Sells You One Seat

The per user price is the number every vendor leads with, and for two of the four it is not a thing you can actually buy.

Respond.io Starter costs $79 a month billed yearly, $99 month to month, and includes five users. If there are two of you, you pay the whole bundle. The published per seat figure of about $16 only applies if you fill all five chairs.

Wati Growth includes three users and states “No additional users.” Not three users at a price, three users as a ceiling. Growing to four is not an upgrade in seats, it is a move to Pro, which includes five and charges $24 for each one after that.

Kommo sells per user honestly at $25, then applies a six month minimum. Two people on Base is $50 a month, which is a $300 commitment before the first renewal decision exists.

Seat bundles are not a trick. At exactly five or exactly ten people they are good value, and we say below where they beat us. They are simply a different unit from the one the headline implies, and a team of two, three or seven pays for chairs nobody sits in.

What the Plan Card Does Not Show

1. The seat bundle you cannot shrink

Respond.io Growth is $159 a month for ten users. A team of six on Growth is paying $159, the same as a team of ten. The bundle sets a floor, never a ceiling on cost.

2. Minimum contract terms

Kommo states a minimum subscription period of six months, with discounts for nine, twelve and twenty four. There is no one month option to try it with real leads in it. Respond.io’s page states no minimum term. Wati’s page does not state one.

3. Contact metering, which is a second meter beside seats

Respond.io prices Growth and Advanced on Monthly Active Contacts, starting at 1,000, with overage at $12 per 100 contacts on Growth and $15 per 100 on Advanced. A contact counts as active when you exchange messages with it in the billing month. A campaign that works well is therefore a campaign that costs more, and the increase arrives in arrears.

Kommo meters leads per user: 2,500 on Base, 5,000 on Advanced, 10,000 on Pro.

4. Message charges, which are separate everywhere

Wati’s page states message charges apply on top of the subscription, per its own rate card, and that they differ for marketing, utility and authentication messages. This is true of every tool on this page, including ours: WhatsApp conversation charges are set by Meta and billed through whoever your provider is. No CRM subscription includes them. Compare subscriptions against subscriptions.

5. AI credits as a third meter

Respond.io Starter includes 5,000 AI credits. Kommo allocates 750 credits per user on Base, 1,250 on Advanced and 2,250 on Pro. Where AI is metered, heavy use of the feature you bought the plan for is what exhausts it.

What a Two, Five and Ten Person Team Actually Pays

Subscription only, at the entry tier of each tool, in US dollars per month.

TeamViveLead ProfessionalKommo BaseRespond.io Starter
2 people$38 yearly, $48 monthly$50, over a 6 month minimum$79 yearly, $99 monthly
5 people$95 yearly, $120 monthly$125, over a 6 month minimum$79 yearly, $99 monthly
10 people$190 yearly, $240 monthly$250, over a 6 month minimum$139 yearly, $159 monthly

Wati is missing from this table on purpose. See Sources below.

Read the ten person row before you read the two person row. Respond.io at ten people is $139 billed yearly, which is $13.90 a seat, and that is less than our $19. Their bundle is genuinely the cheaper instrument at that size, and pretending otherwise would make the rest of this page worth less.

Where ViveLead Sits, Including Where It Loses

Where we are cheaper: under five users, because we sell the seats you have. Two people pay for two. This is most of the small teams we work with, and it is the entire reason our pricing is shaped this way.

Where we are not cheaper: at ten or more users Respond.io Starter with extra seats works out below our per seat rate. If you are ten people and your contact volume sits comfortably under their Monthly Active Contact allowance, that is a real saving and you should take it.

Where Kommo beats us outright: channels. Kommo covers WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Messenger and TikTok. We cover WhatsApp, SMS and email. If your buyers message you on Instagram, we are the wrong tool and no price makes us the right one. We wrote that out in full on our Kommo alternative page.

What we do not meter: leads, contacts or custom fields. Our plans carry feature flags, not counters, so a good month does not produce an invoice you did not plan for. That is a design choice with a cost: we cannot offer a very cheap tier subsidised by overage.

Minimum term: none. Monthly is monthly.

How to Compare Without Getting Caught

  1. Divide by the seats you will actually fill, not the seats included. A five seat bundle for a team of two is a per seat price of half the headline.
  2. Ask what happens in month two. A minimum term means the trial decision and the purchase decision are the same decision.
  3. Find the second meter. Seats are the visible one. Contacts, leads, AI credits and message volume are the ones that move with success.
  4. Price the tier you will need, not the tier you will start on. Wati Growth cannot hold a fourth user at any price, so for a team that expects to hire, the honest comparison is against Pro.
  5. Open the vendor’s page yourself. Several of these prices changed this year. Kommo’s Base went from $15 to $25 on 1 September 2026.

WhatsApp CRM Pricing: FAQs

Straight answers, with the working shown

It depends on whether the tool sells seats at all. Kommo is $25 per user per month on Base, $35 on Advanced and $45 on Pro, over a six month minimum. ViveLead is $19 per user billed yearly or $24 month to month. Respond.io and Wati sell bundles instead: Respond.io Starter is $79 a month for five users billed yearly, or $99 month to month, Growth $159 and $199 for ten, Advanced $279 and $349 for ten, with extra seats at $12, $20 and $24. Wati Growth includes three users and allows no more, while Pro and Business include five with extra seats at $24 and $69. All figures read off each vendor’s own page on 24 September 2026.
There is no single answer, because it changes with headcount. Under five users, per seat pricing wins: two people pay $38 a month on ViveLead billed yearly against $79 on Respond.io Starter on the same terms, which is a five seat bundle whatever you use. At ten users the bundle wins: Respond.io Starter plus five extra seats is $139 a month billed yearly, or $13.90 a seat, below our $19. Work out your own headcount before you compare headline prices.
ViveLead and Kommo price per user, so one seat is one seat. Respond.io’s entry plan includes five users and Wati Growth includes three, so a solo operator or a pair buys the whole bundle either way. Wati Growth also states “No additional users”, which makes three a ceiling rather than a starting point: a fourth person means moving to Pro.
Subscription only, per month, at each tool’s entry tier: Respond.io Starter with five extra seats $139 billed yearly or $159 month to month, ViveLead Professional $190 billed yearly or $240 monthly, Kommo Base $250 over a six month minimum. Respond.io is the cheaper instrument at this size. Check its Monthly Active Contacts allowance against your own contact volume before deciding, because Growth and Advanced start at 1,000 active contacts with overage at $12 and $15 per 100.
ViveLead has none, monthly is monthly. Respond.io’s pricing page states no minimum term. Kommo requires six months, with discounts at nine, twelve and twenty four, so on Base for two users the first commitment is $300. Wati’s page does not state a minimum. A minimum term matters more than it looks: it collapses the trial decision and the purchase decision into one.
No, and not on any tool here, including ours. WhatsApp conversation charges are set by Meta and billed through whichever provider sends the message, at rates that differ for marketing, utility and authentication messages. Wati states this on its own pricing page and it is equally true elsewhere. When you compare two tools, compare subscription against subscription and price the message volume separately, or the cheaper subscription will look cheaper than it is.

Every figure here comes from the vendor’s own pricing page, except where stated. ViveLead’s prices are our own live plan documents.

Respond.iorespond.io/pricing
Watiwati.io/pricing
ViveLeadvivelead.com/pricing

On Wati’s headline prices. Wati prices by country. Opened from India, where we are, its pricing page renders in rupees, so the dollar tiers are not figures we can read from here at all. The seat structure is the same either way and is what this page uses: Growth includes three users with no additional users allowed, Pro includes five with extra seats at $24, Business includes five with extra seats at $69, and message charges apply on top per Wati’s rate card. Other sites publish dollar figures for those tiers. We have not repeated them, because we did not read them on Wati’s own page, and a price we cannot source is not a price we will print. If you are buying in dollars, open Wati’s page yourself from where you will be billed, and that is good advice for every tool here.

How these numbers stay current. We open each of these pricing pages in a real browser on a schedule and record every currency figure on it, then compare the set against the previous run. That is what the checked date above means, and it is why the table below can say what moved rather than when we last felt like looking. Respond.io’s split between its yearly and month to month rates was caught that way, after this page first published with only the yearly figure.

What has changed since we published

CheckedWhat moved
24 September 2026First publication. Kommo Base and Advanced rose $10 per user on 1 September 2026, to $25 and $35.
24 September 2026Corrected the same day. Respond.io’s $79, $159 and $279 are its yearly rates. Month to month is $99, $199 and $349. The first version of this page carried only the yearly figure while giving ViveLead both, which is not a comparison.

Software pricing moves without an announcement. If you find a figure here that has changed, tell us and we will correct it and log it in the table above.
