Your CRM Knows Who Sold What.
It Should Also Pay Them Correctly.
Most Indian SMBs run a CRM for customers and a separate HRMS for staff, then copy data between them every month. ViveLead attaches PF/ESIC/TDS payroll to your CRM at Rs 99 per user, so attendance, commissions, and payslips live where your sales data already is.
Why Running CRM and Payroll Separately Hurts
Two tools for one team means double cost, double logins, and a spreadsheet bridging them.
Two Vendors, Two Renewals, One Spreadsheet Between Them
A ten-person team on Zoho CRM Standard, Zoho People Professional and Zoho Payroll pays about Rs 8,960 a month, and Rs 8,000 of that is the CRM alone. The second tool is rarely the expensive part. What costs you is the export, the spreadsheet and the re-keying at every month end, and that never appears on either invoice.
Commissions Computed by Hand
Your CRM knows which rep closed which deal. Your payroll tool does not. So every month someone exports deals to Excel, computes incentives by hand, and prays the numbers match what reps expect.
PF, ESIC, and TDS on a Deadline
Statutory filings do not wait. When attendance lives in one tool, salaries in another, and deductions in a spreadsheet, month-end compliance becomes a scramble and errors creep into payslips.
Payroll That Reads Your Sales Data
One add-on switch turns your CRM into the system that also pays your team.
Add Payroll to Any Plan
Every ViveLead plan from Rs 499 Starter onward accepts the HRMS and payroll add-on at Rs 99 per user per month, Rs 79 on annual billing. No tier forcing, no second product to buy.
Attendance and Leaves Built In
Reps check in from the mobile app, leave requests flow through approvals, and the same records feed salary calculations. Field teams and office staff are tracked in one place.
PF, ESIC, TDS, and PT Automated
PF at 12 percent plus 12 percent, ESIC for employees under Rs 21,000 a month, TDS by tax regime, and state-wise Professional Tax are calculated automatically, with ECR files and statutory reports ready for filing.
Commissions Flow from Deals
Set a commission plan, and when a rep moves a deal to won, ViveLead creates a pending commission entry from the deal amount. Finance approves it and the next payroll run adds it to the payslip with TDS handled.
Payslips Without the Scramble
One-click payroll runs generate PDF payslips emailed to employees, with role-based access so salary data stays visible only to the people who should see it.
Compliant and Hosted in India
Data is stored in India with SSL and AES-256 encryption, following GDPR principles and the IT Act 2000. Salary details are permission-gated away from the wider sales team.
Priced Against the Stack You Would Otherwise Buy
The closest separate stack an Indian SMB actually buys is Zoho CRM plus Zoho People plus Zoho Payroll. Here is the monthly cost of each, on annual billing, before GST.
| Team size | Zoho CRM + People + Payroll | ViveLead CRM + payroll add-on | Difference per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 people | Rs 4,000 | Rs 2,890 | Rs 1,110 |
| 10 people | Rs 8,960 | Rs 5,780 | Rs 3,180 |
| 25 people | Rs 23,400 | Rs 14,450 | Rs 8,950 |
| 50 people | Rs 47,800 | Rs 28,900 | Rs 18,900 |
Read the composition, not the total. At ten people, Rs 8,000 of Zoho's Rs 8,960 is the CRM. The HR half is Rs 960 there against Rs 790 here, which is close to a wash. The gap is almost entirely CRM against CRM, Rs 800 per user versus Rs 499. Bundling payroll is not what saves the money, and a page that tells you otherwise is selling.
- Zoho Payroll is free up to 10 employees and Zoho People is free up to 5 users. A five-person team that needs leave, payslips and PF filing and nothing more pays Zoho nothing for the HR half and pays us Rs 79 per user. At that size, take theirs.
- The free Zoho People edition has no attendance management. That starts at Rs 96 per user on Professional, which is the figure used in the table from ten people up.
- Kredily is free for unlimited employees and runs payroll, attendance and leave. If price is the only question, no paid tool beats it, and that includes ours.
- There is no selfie or biometric attendance in the ViveLead add-on. Check-in can carry a location, but face capture and fingerprint devices are not built. If proving physical presence is why you are buying, this is not the tool.
Read from each vendor's own pricing page on 8 September 2026, from an Indian connection, on annual billing and excluding 18 percent GST. Zoho CRM Standard Rs 800 per user. Zoho People Professional Rs 96 per user, free up to 5 users. Zoho Payroll free up to 10 employees, then Rs 1,000 per organisation per month including 25, and Rs 3,000 including 50. ViveLead Starter Rs 499 per user with the HRMS add-on at Rs 79 on annual billing, Rs 99 monthly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about running CRM and payroll together
ViveLead adds payroll to its CRM through one optional add-on at Rs 99 per user per month on any plan. Attendance, leaves, payslips, and PF, ESIC, and TDS compliance run on the same login as your leads and deals. Mainstream CRMs like Zoho, Salesforce, and Freshsales need a separate HRMS and payroll subscription instead.
With ViveLead, CRM with payroll starts at Rs 598 per user per month: Rs 499 for the Starter CRM plus the Rs 99 add-on, or Rs 578 on annual billing where the add-on is Rs 79. The nearest separate stack, Zoho CRM Standard plus Zoho People Professional plus Zoho Payroll, comes to about Rs 896 per user per month for a ten-person team on annual billing. Almost all of that gap is CRM against CRM, Rs 800 per user versus Rs 499, not the payroll: Zoho Payroll is free up to 10 employees, so at that size their payroll costs nothing and ours costs Rs 79 per user. Prices read from each vendor own pricing page on 8 September 2026, before GST.
Yes. The add-on automates PF at 12 percent plus 12 percent, ESIC for employees earning under Rs 21,000 per month, TDS based on the chosen tax regime, and state-wise Professional Tax. It generates payslips, an ECR file for PF submission, and statutory reports you can use for filing.
Yes. You configure a commission plan with a percentage rate, and when a rep moves a deal to a won stage, ViveLead creates a pending commission entry from the deal amount. HR or finance approves it, and the next payroll run adds it to the rep's payslip with TDS handled, with a full ledger and per-rep history available.
Yes. Every plan from Rs 499 to Rs 1,699 per user per month is CRM-only by default with no HR features bundled in. The add-on is a separate switch you turn on when you need attendance, leaves, and salary processing, so CRM-only teams never pay for payroll they do not use.
Most businesses are fully operational in 3 to 5 days. You export leads from your current CRM and employee records from your HRMS as CSV files, and ViveLead provides free migration help to import both. Then you add PF and ESIC registration numbers, set salary structures, and run your first payroll.
