Why People Search for a Kylas Alternative

Kylas’s pitch is unlimited users for a flat Rs 12,999 a month. For a 60-rep sales floor, that is genuinely good value. The problem is who actually buys CRMs in India: teams of 5 to 30, where the flat fee quietly becomes the most expensive option on the market.

What changes the maths, from Kylas’s own pricing pages (checked 11 September 2026):

  • The flat fee punishes small teams. 10 users on Rs 12,999 means Rs 1,300 per user, more than Zoho, Freshsales, or ViveLead.
  • Extras are sold in blocks. Elevate includes 30 workflows, 25 custom fields and 100,000 records. More cost Rs 500 a month per 10 workflows, Rs 200 per custom field and Rs 500 per 20,000 records. BI and analytics is Rs 5,000 a month.
  • No HRMS or payroll. Attendance tracking exists only as a field-sales add-on, so HR needs a second vendor.
  • WhatsApp is an add-on. Kylas’s inbuilt WhatsApp costs Rs 3,500 a month on top of the flat fee, and message credits carry a 10 percent markup on Meta’s rates.

Switch to ViveLead if you are under 25 users, want WhatsApp without a separate add-on bill, need HRMS or payroll on the same login, or want to start at 5 seats without paying for 100.

Stay on Kylas if you genuinely run 30+ sales reps with no HR needs in the platform. The flat fee is real value at that scale, and the simple UI and India-first support hold up. Recheck the math only if you also pay for a separate HRMS, because two vendors often cost more than one.
