Who Should Actually Use HubSpot?
HubSpot makes sense for a specific profile:
A digital marketing agency in Gurgaon uses HubSpot perfectly. They create content (blogs, videos, webinars) to attract clients organically. Every piece of content has forms to capture leads. Those leads get automated email nurture sequences based on which content they consumed. Marketing team monitors engagement, passes hot leads to sales team when engagement hits certain thresholds.
That workflow is exactly what HubSpot was designed for. And for them, the free tier plus ₹1,600/user paid plan is worth every rupee because it’s generating leads automatically.
But if you’re:
- Getting most leads from referrals, WhatsApp, or cold outreach (not inbound content)
- Need CRM + HRMS in one platform
- Don’t have a dedicated content marketing operation

HubSpot’s paid plans are overpriced for what you’ll actually use, and the free tier will frustrate you once you need automation.
